I need to get some new tires for my 1970 beetle.

At the moment it has 185x55x15's all around and are fitted to Centrelines.

I want to get larger rears and around the same at the front. Any recommendations on ways to go?

If you have some pics and spec of your own setups that would be fantastic. Im finding it hard to visualise the setups at the moment.

Many thanks :hangloose

p.s im running standard height at the moment both ends, if i do lower it it will only be the front.

on my bug (currently a 1303) which has empi 8s( a 5.5" width rim) i run 185/60 at the front 205/65 at the back, the 205/65 is pretty much the same diameter as original beetle wheels.

on my 1302s i ran 185/55 at the front and 195/65s at the back which are a good combo also.
