Evostick is highly recommended (ive read it several times). Can be a bit messy though. (Usual precautions to avoid getting it anywhere it shouldnt go)

Shouldnt damage any paintwork either if you need to remove it at a later date. After a while the new seals should learn there correct positions. :)
cheers fella appreciated, i had assumed that a decent contact adhesive was what was required, just wasnt sure if some were better than others, evostick it is then :)

just to check... the pva evostick woodglue?

glue

the wood adhesive wont work. You need the contact adhesive that comes in cans. Not the white stuff.

Used Contact carpet adhesive (Came from Spirit of the Fifties) on mine and its held through two winters so far

Terostat 9200 is supposed to be excellent for this, i asked the same question a while ago.

Dont know anything about the stuff, do a google for it.
Use the one that 'smells nice' :D , makes you happy that you're doing a good job even when you're not.
