Hi there, im wanting to run whitewalls on my new project

ive had atlas flaps before and they're a bitch to fit, they go yellow after about a week, they scuff really easy and they run a groove in your tyres unless you grease them

so i m wondering if anyones had any experience (good or bad) in using whitewall paint

im up for having a go myself, i just dont want it falling of within a week

theres 3 different types on ebay now but wanted to see if if any of them are any good before i spend my money

a friend had some tyres done at bay area rods which looked really good but they had a slow air leek and the tyre went flat and the paint flaked off, this is to be expected but the price they paid i'd be gutted

any advice greatfully recieved

oh yeah the rears would be full height 155's and low profile fronts

cheers, paul:cool:

frosts is a classic car restoration website ... we bought a tin of whitewall touchup from there http://www.frost.co.uk/item_Detail.asp?productID=8667&frostProductName=Whitewall+Tyre+Paint+%28250ml%29&catID=15&subCatID=&FrostCat=Car%20Care&FrostSubcat=

and bay area charged £50 for 4 tyres to be ground and painted :)
