I got some rear quarter windows for my early bay & today I went to put a new seal round it which I got from Schofields, it,s took me 4 hours to get the feckin seal on:mad::mad:
First off was the small thin bit of seal, this would,nt sit down the full length no matter what I did so I had to trim it to fit.
After I got the seal in I put the glass & frame in, but when I pull it shut it,s really hard to flick the catch over & the top corner of the glass is not pulled in against the seal:confused:
I put a smear of oil around the seal to see if the glass & frame would pull in better & it will if I manually push the glass, The seal is in correctly but I,m worried about how hard it is to lock the glass in place...Any ideas ???
