Most torque wrenches now come with the Newton measurement. Hence how many K's of downward pressure (or newtons) would need to be applied to undo my rusty nuts.... longer the handle, less pressure...
Now, can this be applied to other things....
For example
John was awoken by the arrival of the builders coming into next door. it was early and he was not very pleased by this so he made his way out to his front garden. Here he found a 2 meter long piece of fence panel. Next to it was a potted plant, to get the plant over next doors house and clearing the chimney stack and landing clean through the neighbours conservatory roof , how long would the fence panel need to be and how many newtons would John need to apply.....
if you have time the house is equivalent in height to 1 london bus...
does anyone else have any example in which a Newton can be used
