Beetle been sat for 20 years

I've just got hold of a beetle that has been sat for 20 years and am having a couple of problems.

Firstly, the fuel line from the tank to the carb is blocked somewhere, how the hell do I clear it without replacing the whole thing?

Secondly, the brake drums. One side at the rear I've managed to get the drum off but one of the adjusters is so tight I need to replace the entire back plate (unless there is another way to get them off that I can't think of) But the other side the drum is so tight that I can't even turn it, any ideas how I can get it off please?

Any help would be much appreciated.

:)

Replace the fuel line all the way, and the tank filter as well. There's a very high chance you'll loose your petrol suddenly if you don't.

Can you get the screws out of the adjuster wheels?

Fit an old 19mm socket on each wheel bolt in turn and whack it hard with a hammer. That may jar it free.

Soak everything with Plusgas, not WD40, before you try to remove it.

Cheers for the reply Moby

Bugger, is it hard to get the old solid line out?

The wheels are out of the adjuster, but so far its resisted all manner of violence to get the adjuster out.

Tried the wheel bolt/socket trick still no movement at all.

I'll get some Plusgas tomorrow
