Hi all
further to my post yesterday on engine service/tune up, I now have the tools and instructions to do a lot of it myself. The only things I dont feel too comfortable on are:
New ignition points and installation
valve adjustment
Engine timing
I have looked through the John Muir book at the relevant sections, but i could really do with something a bit more "visual", with pictures of every step to help me along!
Does anyone have anything suitable for the above tasks? I'd be really grateful as I'd love to learn how to do this myself.
alternatively - is there anyone out there local to Ipswich who knows how to do all the above that could spare me an hour or so on a weekend to help me with it?
of course i'd pay for your time, travel and wisdom!
If anyone can help - either with instructions or in person, please let me know, I'll be really grateful (and so will my beetle!)
