I've massively gotten into spinning in the last 6 months, getting quite good too. But I'm off to the desert again in January, and whilst the have the bikes and run the classes my work pattern won't give me the chance to go. So has anyone used one of the cd's you can get with the tracks already layed out on them? Or is there some software you can get to make your own? Or do you just make a playlist and a script and do it that way?

I've just burned favorite tracks onto a blank CD in the past, or if you have an ipod create an album of the same.

When you arrange them just try and think of how a class would go - hill climb then maybe into a down hill sprint, that kinda thing :)

If you've been doing it for 6 months you've got a good idea of the type of music to use and length of time to make the list. I found it useful to actually talk (in my own head :mental:) as though i were taking a class, otherwise i don't work as hard

I was hoping to find a cd or DVD with a snouty person on it already as I find I work so much harder being yelled at, part of military training I guess lol

Check out the sufferfest videos, they're cycling specific but will work with spin bikes as well, I use them for winter training on the turbo trainer, I downloaded the angels one and did it for the first time last night, it bloody hurt! Can thoroughly recommend them. Music is so/so but works well, and it's good having something relevant to watch when your wrecking yourself. The text commentary is amusing too.
