Hi guys

Well was out in the garage today working on fitting a 1/4 panel to my beetle when my 6 month old dremel 4000 just died:(.

Was using a grinding stone to grind down some welds at the bottom of the b pillar when it suddenly started to shoot loads of sparks around its casing and struggle to keeping revving.

Considering its 6 months old and has probably done around 3 hours work im pretty annoyed.

Any one know of any good alternatives?

Cheers

Cheers for the reply guys

That ferm tool looks like a clever bit of kit but not quite what im looking for, like the dremel type tools for the ability to cut, sand , grind etc.

Yeah dremel has a pretty good reputation, although after goggling about the 4000 failing as mine did I found a few sililar story's

People seem to recommend the dremel 300?
