I've found my all my lost pics after my computer crash!

I've had to re-install windows XP (for the third time), overwriting the old install and losing ALL my pics in the process. (unlike the last time!)
I'd saved the family pics to disc, but not the hundreds of pics from my old bug resto, I thought they were lost forever!:(

But I needed to get my avatar shrunk down to fit, so I re-installed the XNVEIW facility I used to use, and low and behold,
ALL my old pics are in there somehow!!:D

XNVEIW must get my pics from the old location, and the new windows can't find them.......anyway...woot woot!!:D

i am glad i got a separate storage drive a while back. thought the PC was going to die so panicked and spent ages copying all my pics onto loads of CDs. luckily the PC was just playing up and has since stopped messnig about.

backed up my sisters pictures the other day which was a good job seeing as i got my memory card stuck in her laptop and now it won't work.... :eek:
