I like wheeler dealers and the trading up show looks good.

However......

Why does mike run his hands over all the cars, could be one straight out of the paint show slaps his hand straight on the bonnet.

Then at a classic car show, hand down the rain gutter of one on the left then the same on the right like a swinging gibbon.

I would have thought someone in the buisness as long as him would know, hands off the paint

I have a long standing argument with a mate - I think Mike Brewer is a complete cock-end who knows bugger all about cars, he's just a wide boy wheeler dealer (literally). He, on the other hand despises Tim Shaw from Car SOS for similar reasons - but at least the guy seems to know a bit about cars and will get his hands dirty from time to time.

I met Mike at a show earlier this year, he seemed alright tbf and a lot taller than I expected (around my height), my suspicions that Ed is a giant and made him look small, were true. I think it's becoming quite a business interest with all their merchandise etc. that is available now.

I can't be doing with Faux Jeopardy also, The handing back seems rushed as well....Lets hire extras, a massive bus depot/airfield/classic car museum etc etc then spend 25 seconds hoaxing the owner and give it back in a less than dramatic way.

On the other hand, EDD China has got better with his work....the first couple of series I cringed at using can spray paint at every opportunity and the old wheel nuts on the refurbished wheels

and putting them on with a feckin air gun......winds me up everytime when he does that

Lets not forget his insistance of sitting on the bonnets... or the way he slams doors

I must be one of the few that likes Mike Brewer!

It does annoy me how he rubs his hands on the cars when they've just been cleaned or painted but I follow him on facebook and he sometimes does live streaming videos. He did a video Q&A once after him and Edd had been out with their families for a birthday meal. He comes across as a nice, genuine bloke and I really do think he is a proper petrol head.

Feeling gutters is a way to check the quality of a paint job or vehicle.....it's one of the first things I look for in a flashy painted split sporting all the shiny goodies....but it has wobbly, sharp edged gutters that have been overlooked in the 'hugely expensive' resto.

Brewer attended(s) our local Wallingford Car Rally, he's OK even if he does come across as a wide boy...so what.
