And if so, how did you go about getting a warranty replacement? Mondraker Benelux are pricks and it's looking like I'm going to have to take it back to the shop I purchased it from. Which is in another country that I never wanted to go back to.

Can you not just ship it back to the shop? Surely that's cheaper than going there, especially if it's a ball ache.
I had a minor warranty issue with Cannondale, they were wankers, I gave up and lived with it, but I guess a cracked frame is different to a corroded access cover.
Hypothetically yes, but that's time, effort, and expense as well, compared to driving to the Benelux agent an hour down the road with the bike slung in the boot. Especially if I do end up with a new bike, where it would be shipped from Spain to Scotland, then have to be shipped back to the mainland again at my expense. The fact that it would either go through Schiphol or Rotterdam both ways and both are no more than an hour from me is especially amusing...
It may be worth contacting the UK distributors rather than Mondraker themselves. They may deal with it for you. I also noticed that Demon Tweeks stock Mondraker bikes .They're both worth a punt. If it's a Europe wide warranty I don't see why you have to return it to where it came from.Check the warranty T&Cs. I had a couple of issues with my Scott and a local bike shop ,after a conversation with Scott UK ,dealt with them even though it was bought elsewhere through a bike replacement scheme.
Good luck
