I'm pretty sure there's enough room, but if not you'll be fine if you adopt the cool-kid stoop: that is hunched over the wheel with your elbows on the bottom of the rim and your knuckles hanging over the top while relaxing your spine into a pronounced hunch - I've seen it done!

 

this pretty much happens to anyone who drives a Split its just the comfortable way I,m 6" 1 and theres plenty of room another 5" I would guess is still doable but like said above untill you try one for size you won,t know anyway happy hunting

 

I would think the leg room would be more of an issue than the head room?

The best thing to do would be to try one on I suppose.

I'm 6'4" and have no problem driving mine.

 

Check out the seats. I'm 6 foot/6 1 ish and I've got Mk2 Fiesta seats in my bay
(I know it's not a split) and my knees are a lot closer to the bottom of the steering wheel than if I was sitting on the original VW seats.

Hi there I'm 6ft 6 my split is my dialy has stock seats ,is fine loads of room get a bit crampy after couple hundred miles but you need wee stops anyhow .

 

i'm literally the biggest man that has ever lived - and i juuuuuuuust fit in Fat Paul's split..

Wouldn't want to go far like it though
