isn't the steering box mount clearanced so it can clamp the tube tighht? could be wrong.

and the paint job question is so open ended it's untrue! could be anywhere from £500 to £5000 depending on condition, corrosion, solid colour, metalic, pearl, base and clear, FX paint.

It's vertually impossible to answer, your only bet is to get a painter who is willing to do the job to quote, rather than one who doesn't really want to do it.

I had a wizard done for £1200 when others quoted £5000, but I could have had a £500 job.
