volksrod front ends???

not sure whether to fit a std beam on my (dream) ratrod or a ford/similar front end, does anyone do aconversion to fit up a ford/similar front end to a beetle chassis, or will it be a homebrew conversion?

what do other 'rods run for a front end?

An other way is to shorten the body behind the doors and move the frontclip backwards. Like this one. But when you do this you also might need to move the gearshift and handbrake backwards too as well as pedal assembly mount..

vw rods generally don't look right with the standard beam just moved forward IMO. have a nosey at these sites for the I and tube beams (I beams are my fave by far
