I might be wrong but I reckon its by laying net curtain over and spraying over it

Was loooking at some carbon fibre effect a lad did by laying the non slip matting you get and giving a waft over with some silver

looked really good and people even asked if it was a carbon fibre bonnet....lol

Lace work

The lace pattern is applied using a lace material as a mask, traditional lace work on old rods etc was ofte n quite bold with very strongly contrasting colours etc, whereas i've gone for a more subtle effect.

A few more steps to get it this subtle, and i've even faded it out towards the edge of the roof, but i think it works better on this car than a more bold style would've - having said that, if it doesn't sell, i'll be panel painting and probably lace'in the rest of the car, so subtle it really won't be!
