Hello,
I imported my Bay from the States and had to change the headlights for some from a RHD van - they were a straight swap after a bit of jiggling. Someone may know better, but everyone I've spoken to has said that the LHD-type lights have to be repleced as there is not enough adjustment to align them the other way.
As for the sidelights in the indicators thing, I enquired into changing the wiring but it wasn't as easy as it looked and as electrics aren't my thing, I left it how it was and it passed - time to try another garage maybe??!

ps. Haynes manual has the wiring diagrams in it.

Key 1 goes on left side of diagram
Key 2 goes on right side of diagram en Y "

This is '76 US version with Fuel Injected 2.0L

E1 is the Headlight switch.
Term #58 feeds Fuses S1 and S2 for front and rear lights.
Those are all Gray wires with various stripe colours.
