evening all
a customer of mine has just bought a 1976 westfalia from the states. It has been here a week and it has been put in for m.o.t and failed on the side lights and the head lamps.

The head lamps are aiming to the offside and the side lights are in the indicators.

Is there a conversion kit for this problem or is just a case of re-routing wires?
Any help will be appreciated.

P.S. where can I download a wiring diagram :)

Hello,
I imported my Bay from the States and had to change the headlights for some from a RHD van - they were a straight swap after a bit of jiggling. Someone may know better, but everyone I've spoken to has said that the LHD-type lights have to be repleced as there is not enough adjustment to align them the other way.
As for the sidelights in the indicators thing, I enquired into changing the wiring but it wasn't as easy as it looked and as electrics aren't my thing, I left it how it was and it passed - time to try another garage maybe??!
;)
ps. Haynes manual has the wiring diagrams in it.
